Dear Parent/Carer,
This year at The English Martyrs School and Sixth Form College we are delighted to be able offer Latin to some our most able linguists in Years 8 and 9.
I would like to invite your child to a series of Latin taster lessons which will run for 1 hour on Wednesdays after school in room 2.25. The course is a beginner’s course and all students will be new to the subject.
Latin is a highly regarded subject and is valuable to any students considering careers in medicine, law and archaeology as well as languages and history.
