Letter to Parents/Carers of Year 11 from Mrs Hogarth

Dear Parent/ Carer

Your son/ daughter is at a very important stage in their education.

As they work towards their GCSEs and BTec qualifications they will be doing important mock and preparatory tests in school. All details are available on the website: https://ems.bhcet.org.uk/wp content/uploads/2021/10/RevisionOutline.pdf

Your support in ensuring they attend school every day, complete homework and are fully prepared for exams is invaluable.

In school lessons are designed to ensure students are prepared and additional mastery sessions are available to students.

We want your children to do well and achieve their best if we can support you in anyway, please contact Mrs Wiliamson who is Pastoral Leader for Y11.

This week students have had a Careers Fair to help them to decide their future options into further education or into apprenticeships.

English Martyrs has an excellent Sixth Form that offers a wide range of academic courses. Students have gone on from us to study medicine, nursing, languages, law, and music at some of the most prestigious universities and have secured apprenticeship at renowned companies.

We will be holding our Sixth Form Open Evening on Thursday the 18th November 6.00pm-8.00pm and you would be welcome to attend.

Please register your interest in the event here. https://forms.office.com/r/EdgD23yDmR

Applications for EMS6 for September 2022 are now open. We’ve had some issues with the old online form, so if you have already applied you may need to do it again. Applications can be submitted here https://forms.office.com/r/bScmPR2hQJ
