Safeguarding Policy

Ensuring students are safe is a priority for all staff at The English Martyrs Catholic School and Sixth Form College.

All staff have annual training in how to keep children safe and a designated team have additional specialist training in Safeguarding and Child Protection.

Our PSHE programme and wider curriculum teach students how to stay safe (including on line) and how to share any worries or concerns they may have with a teacher.

Parents/ Carers who have any worries or concerns about their child should contact school without delay. Talk to your child’s Pastoral Leader or contact a member of the Safeguarding team.
