Dear parents/ carers of students in year 10,

As we come to the end of this term and the year, we wanted to share with you what a brilliant start to Key Stage 4 students in Year 10 have made.

Year 10 have shown incredible focus and enthusiasm for learning in the classroom and they have embraced enrichment and wider opportunities with real commitment. Year 10 have in total been awarded 22,287 achievement points. 23 students in Year 10 have attended school every day and 115 students have attended 95% or more of the time this year.

As a year group, they have bought such joy and maturity to school life. Every day, they demonstrate the school virtues of respect and responsibility, justice and compassion, self-belief and resilience and confidence and honesty.

I just want to take this opportunity to say that I am incredibly impressed with the hard work, effort and attitude to learning demonstrated by the students. I hope they continue to embrace all of the support and enrichment opportunities open to them so they can achieve their potential. I am looking forward to being your Pastoral Leader for the rest of your school journey.

We are very proud of Year 10, and we wish you all a very happy and holy Christmas.

Yours faithfully,
Mr M Blackwood – Pastoral Manager of Year 10
