School Mission Statement
Christ Has No Body Now On Earth But Yours
Our School
We are the physical representation of Christ on earth. We strive to live this through our actions and demonstrate compassion in our interactions with one another. As a collective body, we are the hands, feet and eyes of Christ through which he acts in the world today.
We are proud to serve the children of Hartlepool, and holistically educate students from the age of 11 to 18 (Year 7 through to Year 13). We are part of the Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust and belong to the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle.
The Catholic Ethos
Our school exists to educate students academically, socially, culturally and spiritually. We are a faith community and our values are rooted in gospel teaching.
Each individual is valued and we ensure the virtues of:
- Compassion and Justice
- Confidence and Self-belief
- Respect and Responsibility
- Honesty and Resilience
Are taught and are visible in our practices.
Our School Prayer
Lord, we are the representation of Christ on earth. Help us to demonstrate compassion in our interactions, showing kindness and understanding.
Let us be the hands, feet and eyes of Christ. Guide us to act with integrity and serve others selflessly.
Grant us the strength to be Christ like, following the example of the English Martyrs.
Let our school be a beacon of light, spreading hope and joy to all we encounter.
English Martyrs, Pray for us.
