As a school and sixth form community, we came together to support this year's Harvest Festival by collecting a wide range of donations, including food, toiletries, baby essentials and many other much-needed items.
U13 Girls Progress in Durham County Cup with Stunning 14-0 Victory!
Our U13 Girls' Football Team were back in action in the Durham County Cup, making the journey to Framwellgate School, and what a performance it was! The team produced an outstanding display from start to finish, securing a remarkable 14-0 victory. Playing with confidence and composure, the girls were prolific in front of goal, showcased excellent quality on the ball and recorded another impressive clean sheet.

Year 8 Rugby Team Off to a Winning Start!
Our Year 8 Boys Rugby Team have enjoyed a fantastic start to the season, securing an impressive three wins from three matches in their first competition of the year. The team demonstrated great determination, teamwork and commitment throughout the competition, with every player contributing to an outstanding set of results. Their hard work and efforts have not gone unnoticed, and the boys were recently presented with postcards in assembly in recognition of their achievements.
Supporting at the Cleveland Schools Primary Cross Country Event
On Wednesday, we had the pleasure of attending the Cleveland Schools Primary Cross Country Event, where our students played an important role in helping the day run smoothly. A group of Year 8 and Year 9 students were selected to assist with the organisation of the event, taking responsibility for a range of tasks including coordinating teams, officiating races and leading warm-up activities. Throughout the day, they demonstrated excellent leadership skills, maturity and enthusiasm.
Celebrating Culture Through Food
As part of the launch of our Black History Month celebrations, students recently took part in an engaging African Cooking Workshop, giving them the opportunity to explore different cultures through food. During the session, students learned about traditional African ingredients and cooking techniques while working together to prepare a range of delicious dishes. The workshop provided a fantastic hands-on experience, helping students develop new skills and gain a deeper appreciation of the rich diversity of African culture.
