Dear Parents/ Carers,

As we approach the end of this academic year, I would like to thank your children for their hard-work and effort in lessons and their commitment to a rich and varied extra-curricular programme. Your support as parents/carers in ensuring good attendance and a positive attitude to school has been invaluable - thank you.

Students will have some homework over the holidays, and they are encouraged to loan a reading book or two from the school library to enjoy during the break.

In school we actively promote wellbeing and personal safety. Please speak to your child about recent messages regarding railway/road/water and sun safety this summer. If your children are visiting local beaches, please remind them of the dangers of open water and you can find useful resources from the local authority here Before you go | Seaside Safety | Hartlepool Borough Council

If your child is in need of support for emotional and mental wellbeing, there are local and national organisations that can help.  Our recent Safeguarding newsletter offers further significant detail on where you can find support for your family this summer.

If you have any concerns that you would like to discuss with school before we break up, please contact your child’s Pastoral Leader.
