Year 11 PREP Exams Timetable
Dear Parent/Carer,
Your child is currently in Year 11 at The English Martyrs Catholic School and Sixth Form College and will be sitting PREP Exams which run from Monday 10th November to Friday 21st November 2025. You can find the overall timetable for these exams below this letter, and a timetable specific to your child can be found in the Exam Timetable section of the MCAS app. These exams are very important, it is the first opportunity for our Year 11 students to sit exams in a formal environment and a good rehearsal for their final GCSE exams this summer.
During the PREP examination period, it is critical that Year 11 students attend school on time each day. Students need to arrive at school shortly after 8:15am and go to the dining area. After the first bell, students will move to their venues for an exam booster, led by their specialist teachers. Exams will commence promptly at 9:00am.
Students who do not have an afternoon exam will go to normal timetabled lessons.
Obviously, this is an incredibly important time for your child. It will require their focus and determination to succeed, and we would encourage you to fully support them throughout this busy time.
