Y11 Period 6 Intervention Timetable Update
I would like to take this opportunity to update you on the Y11 Period 6 timetable. Period 6 continues to be the central pillar of our package of support provided for our Y11s at EMS.
Now the Y11 November PREP exams have concluded, subjects have rotated and now have a different slot on the timetable. Please familiarise yourself with the new timetable in order to support your child’s attendance.
Students have been accessing the Period 6 timetable in huge numbers. Over the PREP exam window, 60% of the entire Y11 cohort attended Maths and English P6. Over 100 students attended RE P6 intervention, and History & Geography attendances increased by over 55%.
P6 lessons will continue to run from 2:45pm – 3:45pm.
All sessions are available to every Y11 student. Attendance has a significant impact on your child’s progress.
