Dear Parent/Carer,
Your child is currently in Year 11 at The English Martyrs Catholic School and Sixth Form College and will be sitting PREP Exams which will run from Monday 16th February to Friday 6th March 2026. You can find a copy of the PREP Exam Timetable here: Click for Exam Timetable
These exams are very important; it is the final opportunity for our Year 11 students to sit exams in a formal environment before their GCSEs this summer.
During the PREP examination period, it is critical that Year 11 students attend school on time each day. Students need to arrive at school shortly after 8:15am and go to the dining area. At 8:20am, students will move to St Anne’s Hall for an exam booster, led by their specialist teachers. Exams will commence promptly at 9:00am.
Students who do not have an afternoon exam will go to normal timetabled lessons.
Obviously, this is an incredibly important time for your child. It will require their focus and determination to succeed, and we would encourage you to fully support them throughout this busy time.
