Concessionary Travel Permits – English Martyrs Catholic School 2025
Dear Parent/Guardian,
The Passenger Transport Service department currently offers concessionary travel permits which enable pupils not eligible for free transport, to travel on vacant seats available on their dedicated home to school bus services.
We will be able to begin selling these concessionary seats on the 8th July 2025, to cover the academic year starting on the 2nd September 2025.
If you wish to apply, please add this date to your diary and contact the PTS office on 01429 401969 to arrange.
The cost for the concessionary pass for the academic year is £475.
We do offer termly paid passes. These are priced below:
Autumn term £160
Spring term £160
Summer term £155
Please note that concessionary travel permits are not guaranteed and may be withdrawn at any time should the seat be required by a child who is eligible for travel assistance.
Please also note that permits are issued on a ‘first come, first served’ basis and should you wish to purchase a permit you are urged to make your application as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
