Y11 Spring Term Update
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all our Y11 students back to school following the Christmas break and I hope you and your families have had a restful festive period. For our Year 11 students this is an incredibly important time, in terms of their GCSE examinations and ensuring successful outcomes. We kindly thank parents in advance for your ongoing support this academic year.
2026 PREP Exams
The final set of PREP exams will take place on the last week of half term 3 and the first week of half term 4 (dates below). Our aim is the make these PREPs as close to the real GSCE exams as possible, and having the February half term break in the middle of the exam window replicates the break experienced in the summer series. This also gives an opportunity for planned revision, intervention and rest.
The full PREP exam timetable will be shared in the coming weeks.

Period 6 Intervention Timetable
Attending Period 6 sessions are an important part of Year 11 life, and there is a full daily timetable for this (with the exception of Tuesday) from 2:45pm until 3:45pm. It is fundamental to your child's success this term that they create good habits and attend every session.
Nearly 100 students were rewarded with a pizza party at the end of last term to celebrate their Period 6 attendance. Y11s who meet the Period 6 attendance criteria will be rewarded before the PREP exams in February.
