This week, a group of our talented Year 11 students proudly represented The English Martyrs Catholic School & Sixth Form College at the Higher‑Level Maths Advancement Programme Study Day at Teesside University.

The event was designed to support high‑achieving mathematicians as they prepare for the most challenging elements of the GCSE Mathematics curriculum. Throughout the day, students took part in a range of advanced sessions aimed at strengthening their problem‑solving skills, deepening their mathematical understanding, and helping them work confidently towards securing the top GCSE grades.

Our pupils showed fantastic focus and engagement, making the most of this valuable opportunity to extend their learning beyond the classroom.

Well done to all involved — a brilliant step on the journey towards exam success.
