The English Schools Track and Field Cup got underway at Monkton Stadium, with all age groups proudly representing EMS in a fantastic day of competition.
Our students were brilliant ambassadors for the school, demonstrating not only excellent athletic ability but also great team spirit and sportsmanship throughout the event. It was inspiring to see everyone supporting one another and giving their all across both track and field disciplines.
There were some truly outstanding individual performances on the track, including Karson, Isla and Shaun, while impressive efforts in the field events were delivered by Caleb, Deb and Bailey.
A special shoutout must also go to Charlie, Oliver, Cole and Elliott, who showed real commitment and teamwork by stepping up to compete in events outside of their comfort zones. Their willingness to put the team first truly reflects the spirit of EMS.
We are incredibly proud of all our athletes for their hard work, determination and positive attitudes. Well done to everyone involved!
