
Exploring Life at a World-Renowned University
Year 10 students from English Martyrs Catholic School and Sixth Form College in Hartlepool recently enjoyed an inspiring visit to Oxford University, where they stayed at St Catherine’s College.
The trip provided a fantastic opportunity for students to experience university life first-hand while exploring one of the world's most prestigious academic institutions.
Developing New Skills and Experiences
During their visit, students took part in sessions designed to develop their debating skills, helping them build confidence in public speaking, critical thinking and communication.
They also enjoyed a tour of the historic city of Oxford and visited the renowned Ashmolean Museum, where they explored a wide range of art, history and culture.
