Taking Learning Beyond the Classroom

Year 10 students at English Martyrs Catholic School and Sixth Form College recently completed a successful week of work experience, gaining valuable insight into a wide range of careers and industries.

The experience gave students the opportunity to develop workplace skills, explore future career options and build confidence in professional environments.

Outstanding Feedback from Employers

Throughout the week, students demonstrated impressive professionalism, enthusiasm and maturity while working with employers across a variety of sectors.

Feedback from businesses and organisations was overwhelmingly positive, with employers praising students for their attitude, commitment and willingness to learn.

In an exciting reflection of their success, several students have already been offered part-time employment opportunities when they reach the age of 16.

Thank You to the Community

The school would like to extend its sincere thanks to all the parents, businesses, organisations and staff who supported students throughout the week.

Their guidance and encouragement helped make the experience both rewarding and memorable for everyone involved.

Preparing for Future Success

Work experience plays an important role in helping young people develop essential skills for the future, and Year 10 represented the school exceptionally well throughout the week.

The school is incredibly proud of everything they achieved.
