A Unique Learning Experience in the Heart of Disneyland

Students from The English Martyrs Catholic School & Sixth Form College in Hartlepool have enjoyed an unforgettable educational adventure at Disneyland Paris, combining real‑world computing insight with the excitement and creativity of one of the world’s most iconic destinations.

Computing LIVE! Brings Technology to Life

The trip began with a burst of enthusiasm as our Computer Science and Digital Media students arrived at the resort - with congratulations going to The Wahoozers, winners of the on‑board quiz that kicked off the journey in style.

At Computing LIVE!, pupils explored cutting‑edge topics including ethical hacking, artificial intelligence and the digital innovations behind the magic of Disney. Seeing real‑world computing at work gave students a powerful glimpse into the possibilities of modern technology and future careers in the digital industry.

Magic After a Day of Tech

After a brilliant day of learning, the group enjoyed the unforgettable Disney Tales of Magic nighttime spectacular at Sleeping Beauty Castle — a breathtaking blend of colour, storytelling and creativity that captured the imagination of every student.

A Trip Filled With Discovery, Teamwork and Inspiration

From hands‑on learning to magical Disney moments, this visit has been an extraordinary opportunity for EMS students to broaden their knowledge, build confidence and experience the exciting future of digital technology firsthand. The magic, memories and learning will stay with them long after they return home.

Heading Home Inspired

As the group begins their journey back to Hartlepool, spirits are high and the experience has left students inspired, motivated and full of new ideas. A truly fantastic few days for our Computer Science and Digital Media cohort.
