What an amazing beginning to our 2026 Duke of Edinburgh journey! Our exceptional students threw themselves into the very first session with real energy and determination, setting the tone for an exciting year ahead.
During the session, they worked hard to register their Volunteering, Skill and Physical sections — planning out the challenges they want to take on and the goals they hope to achieve. It’s a big step, and they approached it with real maturity and enthusiasm.
Then it was straight into some hands-on teamwork as they tackled the challenge of building tents. There were plenty of laughs, lots of problem‑solving, and a brilliant display of resilience as groups worked together to figure things out.
We’re incredibly proud of their attitude, teamwork and commitment. If this first session is anything to go by, they’re set for an unforgettable DofE year — full of growth, challenge and achievement.
