Y11 Period 6 Intervention Timetable
You are receiving this letter as your child is currently in Y11 at English Martyrs Catholic School and Sixth Form College. To enhance your child’s performance in their GCSE exams, your child is invited to attend Period 6 lessons. The Period 6 timetable commences on Monday 7th September 2026.
During these lessons, your child will take part in activities aimed at developing knowledge and improving skills that are key to positive outcomes in their upcoming GSCEs.
The Period 6 Intervention Timetable is an essential part of the package of support at EMS. Subjects use these lessons to ensure students are taught in the required level of depth for understanding and success.
Please see the timetable below. Classroom teachers will guide your child to the appropriate subjects. All Period 6 lessons are open to all Year 11 students.
