Yorkshire Wildlife Park
We are delighted to offer Year 8 students the exciting opportunity to visit Yorkshire Wildlife Park on Thursday 22nd October 2026.
Following our animal adoption project last year and with National Animal Day taking place around this time, we have been given the opportunity to take 100 Year 8 students on an educational visit to learn more about animal conservation and the protection of endangered species. Students will take part in educational sessions with park staff and have the chance to explore the park throughout the day.
Trip Details
- Date: Thursday 22nd October 2026
- Cost: £25 per student – to be paid for via the Arbor App
- Depart school: 8:50am
- Depart Yorkshire Wildlife Park: 3pm
Students will need a packed lunch, although they are welcome to purchase food within the park. Students entitled to Free School Meals will be provided with a packed lunch by the school.
Please note that places on this trip are dependent upon students maintaining good behaviour, attendance and conduct in school. The school reserves the right to withdraw a place from any student whose behaviour or attendance falls below the expected standard in the lead-up to the visit.
Consent for your child to attend and payment must be made in full via the Arbor App - Trips no later than Friday 2nd October 2026. As places are limited to 100 students, we encourage parents/carers to secure their child's place as soon as possible.
We are confident this will be a fantastic and memorable experience for our Year 8 students and look forward to providing them with this exciting opportunity.
