On Thursday, our Year 8 students enjoyed a fantastic educational visit to Yorkshire Wildlife Park, where they combined learning with exploration in a memorable day out.
During the visit, students took part in an engaging and informative talk about endangered animals and the importance of conservation. They learned about the challenges faced by many species around the world and explored the ways individuals and organisations can work together to protect and preserve wildlife for future generations.
Following the talk, students had the opportunity to explore the park and see a wide variety of fascinating animals from across the globe. The visit brought classroom learning to life, allowing students to deepen their understanding of conservation while experiencing some of the world's most remarkable wildlife up close.
The day was both enjoyable and educational, and our students represented The English Martyrs Catholic School and Sixth Form College exceptionally well throughout the visit. Their enthusiasm, curiosity and excellent behaviour were a credit to themselves and the school.
Well done to all who took part in this wonderful experience!
