Dear Parent/Carer,

The English Martyrs Catholic School and Sixth Form College is delighted to welcome your child as a Year 7 student, from September 2024.

We are excited that you and your child have chosen to be part of our school community. Together we strive to ensure high standards of academic success as well as creating opportunities for them to flourish emotionally, socially and spiritually.

We recommend you familiarise yourself with our school website https://ems.bhcet.org.uk/ where you will find extensive information including information regarding school uniform and term dates.  The start of term for academic year 2024/25 is Tuesday 3rd September 2024 at 8.45am.

We have enclosed a Data Collection Form, various Consent Forms, Individual Healthcare Plan, SEN information form, Summer School Registration Form, Free School Meal and School Transport application forms.  We would be grateful if you could complete all relevant forms and return them in the enclosed envelope by Friday 24th May.  The data collection form and consent forms are compulsory, all other forms are only required if relevant to you and your child’s circumstances.

Our extensive Transition Programme includes working with you and You child’s Primary School so that the move to Secondary School is smooth.  There are some important dates for your diary so that you are fully informed of transition activities and key requirements.
