What a way to finish the day — Year 11 are officially Town Champions!
The final against Manor Academy had everything: tension, drama and plenty of nerves. After a hard‑fought match, it all came down to penalties, and the lads showed incredible composure to hold their nerve and get the job done.
They certainly didn’t take the easy route (they never do!), but that’s exactly what sums this group up — resilient, determined and never willing to give in.
From lifting the Durham County Cup in Year 10 to now being crowned Town Champions, this has been an unbelievable journey and one the boys should be immensely proud of.
Mr Cooksey and Mr Hutchinson have loved being part of this journey and watching the lads grow over the years, both on and off the pitch. A truly special group who have given everything for each other and the school.
