On Wednesday, we had the pleasure of attending the Cleveland Schools Primary Cross Country Event, where our students played an important role in helping the day run smoothly.

A group of Year 8 and Year 9 students were selected to assist with the organisation of the event, taking responsibility for a range of tasks including coordinating teams, officiating races and leading warm-up activities. Throughout the day, they demonstrated excellent leadership skills, maturity and enthusiasm.

Our students were outstanding ambassadors for the school, going above and beyond to support the young competitors. Some ran alongside participants at the back of races to encourage them, while others helped guide children back to their parents when injuries or difficulties arose.

Their kindness, commitment and willingness to help others perfectly reflected our Trust Virtues of Compassion and Responsibility. We are incredibly proud of the way they conducted themselves and the positive impact they had on the event.

A huge well done to everyone involved. You represented the school brilliantly and should be very proud of your contribution!
