Our Year 8 Boys Rugby Team have enjoyed a fantastic start to the season, securing an impressive three wins from three matches in their first competition of the year.
The team demonstrated great determination, teamwork and commitment throughout the competition, with every player contributing to an outstanding set of results. Their hard work and efforts have not gone unnoticed, and the boys were recently presented with postcards in assembly in recognition of their achievements.
We are incredibly proud of the team and the dedication they have shown both on and off the field. Congratulations to all involved on a brilliant start to the season!
Rugby is open to all students and takes place every Monday, led by Phil Wallis from the RFU alongside Mr Cooksey. It is a fantastic opportunity for students to develop their skills, build confidence and be part of a successful team.
We wish the boys the very best of luck in their next fixture and look forward to following their progress throughout the season.
